About Us
Little Garden by the Sea was founded with one purpose - to build a warm, nurturing space for all children to grow, learn, and create with each passing day. Through a unique educational approach, we blend the best aspects of the Waldorf philosophy and the Reggio Emilia approach. We help children blossom socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Little Garden is a Lifeways aligned Program. We are recognized by the North American Association for Environmental Education as a nature preschool and part of their Natural Start Alliance. We are members of the Child Care Council of Nassau.

Our morning program runs Monday-Friday 9-11:30am and serves children 2.5-4 years old.
Our mixed age pre-K & kindergarten program runs Monday-Friday 12:30-3
